Nina
by Heather Miller.........................................
I got Nina when she was just a small puppy. It was love at first sight. She had worms and mange on her tail. When I first brought her home we went out in the yard to play. She followed m around everywhere. If I got to far away she would start whining. I remember the night she passed like yesterday. She was only 6 months old. It was really my fault, I was told to stay away from the road but I didn't listen. I seen her run into the road and seen a car coming. I couldn't move. It hit her staight on. I went into the road and got her out. She was still breathing but she was unconcious. I got her and put her into my lap. I sat there and held to her last breath.
Nina if you can here me baby, Im so sorry, I miss you so much and I love you so so much. I've cried myself to sleep everynigt since it happened. You were the best Black-and-Tan Hound in the world.
