Already a year has passed since you left us, and still the pain remains. The heartache is intense because you filled it so much, but yet I have countless memories of you that makes me smile. All the little innocent things you used to do that made every day, hour and minute worth living.

Your eyes, your softness, your character... such beauty overall, which we still miss immensely every day. I could never get tired of kissing you everywhere - your perfect head, your tiny paws, your pink belly... Your baby smell gave me butterflies every time :)

Even to this day, I still show off your pictures to my surroundings, because I'm proud of having the privilege to be your daddy for 13 years. I hope that you still feel my love for you, wherever you are, and that you watch over me in times of need.
