Shellie, I think you pretend not to be alone
by Isabelle Golmier
Every early morning, Shellie you woke me up purring (at exactly 6:30am!), and asking me to open the window for you to watch carefully into the garden. I didn’t know then but now hi know how your presence made me forget how cold it was outside, how dark was the sky, and how alone I would feel without you. You never, ever made me feel that you were lonely. Even when I left the whole day. You were pretending not to be alone, Shellie 🐾💕💕
