A Dogs Parting Wish For His Master

A Dogs Parting Wish For His Master

Oh, I am so grateful that as my life comes to its end, to have had such devotion and love, to have know such a true friend.

Always faithful on that you would depend.

What ever you say, What ever you do.

Through hardships, and confusion.

When judgement was lack.

No power I've given, those sharp words, harsh as they may be.

Because those I forget effortlessly.

I know you regret each and every effect.

That you thought may have come from your perceived neglect.

I want you to know I can never love you less.

These cloudy old eyes see only respect.

There is no doubt in the mind of this pet.

In the future near a bridge I will sit.

Awaiting faithfully to be together again forever as friends.

To my master, to my best friend.
