Annie Flangapanni
by Jean Martino.........................................
My little Annie was half Beagle and Chiwawa and had a face that was always smiling...I never knew how old she was because I took her from an elderly hair client who didn't want her...I had Annie for seven years and sadly she passed away 2/23/07...The vet said she must have been 15 or 16 years old and had alot of problems plaguing her and the best thing I could do was to give her the gift of peace and a new life...I was in shock to think I didn't realize that she was so sick..So I kissed Annie and spoke into her ear so my voice would be the last she heard until she got to the Bridge...After Nicky passed away I was sure God had put her in my life to fill that space that Nicky left...Not as a replacement but and another life that needed love....And love her I did...She was one of a kind...She had tiny legs,a Beagle body and big ears that made her look like she was flying like the Fying Nun...Some jerk, while I was at the vet for Annie's checkup, said "What kind of dog is that, who would do such a thing to a dog." Then I looked this guy in the eye and said, "What kind of human would do a thing like that to you." Any way, Annie was my little clowny face, sweet, loving, and smart never failing to amuse and protect me...See you oneday my little clown, meanwhile play with Nicky, Willy, Charley, and all the others who left before you. And when you see me, I will look forward to seeing that big goofy smile...I miss you heartachingly, love mommy ~ 3/28/07
