You will live on...
by Jenna Kane.........................................
Around sunday 11/06/05 my dog must have gotten into some rat poison and eaten it, she threw up twice, food mostly, grass and pinkish brown was also in it. She also did not have any energy hardly, she did not want to get up, her legs were shaky and she held her head low. This went on until Wednesday (yesteray) my mom (I am 17) took my german sheperd, Sheba, to the vet, they said it was probably rat poison they gave her a shot of vitamin k and some pills for us to give her. Well she did not live to see her first pill. I woke up to go to school this morning (11/10/05) at 6:30am and i heard some noises from downstairs, it was sheba breathing more short and heavier breaths, then my mom came upstairs and said sheba had just died, I started to cry like any other person would do. We are going to bury her today on some land we own and visit often. This is the hardest thing I have had to deal with, I got sheba for my 10th birthday almost 8 years ago, it is so hard to actually believe this is how she had to go. Note: To anyone who has rat poison around your house or outside please keep it out of reach of your pets, make sure there is no way they are able to get it, you do not want to go through this, I had to watch sheba suffer for 4 days before she finally passed. Thanks for reading this.
