Realizing Your Mission

Realizing Your Mission

Sometimes people spend their entire lives trying to figure out their purpose...their mission in life. Then there are others who knew from the earliest moments of their existence, perhaps innately, that something inside their makeup set them apart from other human beings. You are one of these individuals who has answered your calling and made it your life's mission to better the lives of animals. You realized that these beautiful creatures of God needed a voice ...someone to bring awareness to their causes. Though you are only one person, this did not stop you because your drive and determination gave you the strength and confidence to go above and beyond the call of duty. You were ready and eager to see what you could do to bring about positive changes by devoting much focus and attention toward the needs of animals. Though you have endured many challenges, heartaches, and frustrations, you persevered in your quest...giving of yourself day in and day out. Your sacrifices have cost you a great deal and there are days your body is exhausted from the efforts put forth toward the plight of animals that have so desperately needed your assistance. Some people do not understand your mission while others applaud you for the amazing changes you have made throughout these challenging years. There are days when you cry silently and question just how you can continue especially when you see the suffering and neglect that animals endure at the ignorance of mankind. Still, you get up the next day and use that energy reserve inside you to continue your mission once again. As you get older, you reflect on the many years you have given to animal awareness issues and you ask yourself whether all of the sorrow and devastation you have seen firsthand will one day be replaced by the joyful moments and changes you hope to witness. You ask yourself whether you have made even the smallest impact on both the human race as well as the animal population. I will tell you, my friend, you have done an amazing job and because of all of the blood and sweat you have given in your lifetime, the planet is a more nurturing place and the animals are far better off for you having been a part of their lives. What a champion you have been as their voices...both loud and faint...have been heard. You have been true to yourself and others and your uniqueness has made you a pioneer of sorts because you have opened the eyes of many individuals who now see things in an entirely different manner for the first time in their lives. You have found your purpose in life and you have perfected it like a true master. May your soul be at peace and your spirit filled with the satisfaction and comfort that you are a true hero who gave of yourself so selflessly so that other living creatures could live a better quality of life. I thank you for being you...for sharing a passion that I, myself, truly understand and believe to be one of the most admirable qualities any human being on the face of the earth could possess.
