My beautiful brittany, COLT has left us tonight (8/1999 - 10/20/2010). It was sudden and unexpected, but now hes gone to be with his brother Jordan.
Colt joined our family in October 1999. He and Jordan became best of friends, and were together for 7 years, until Jordan left us in December 2006. COLT was then joined by Kimber in January 2007. They also became very good friends.
Colt had been through a lot of hard times with his valley fever and bad hips, but you would never know it. He was a trooper that never let too much slow him down. Loved to eat table scraps as well as just about anything.
I knew he was slowing way down, but thought he had at least another year in him. But I guess God had plans for him. He is running free of pain with Jordan right now.
Colt you will be in our hearts and minds forever. You will be missed by everyone my big old bear.
May we be joined again some day when the Lord thinks the time is right. And may we be together for eternity.
