Colt was the second of the 3 Brittany's I have had over the last 19 years. Colt came into our family in October of 1999. He joined my first Brittany, Jordan. Colt and Jordan became best of friends.
I have had dogs most all of my life, but without a doubt, Colt was the biggest lover I have ever had. He knew how to show that love too. I miss pulling into the garage and before even walking into the house, I was greeted by a big howl of love.
Colt, it will be 2 years on October 20th that we lost you. And that night you left us was very unexpected. You had your share of health problems, but I thought you had at least a couple more years in you.
We have a picture of you in almost every room, you are always with us. I know that you and Jordan, who we lost in December of 2006, are up there kicking it up.
Colt, you are missed by all, your sweet ways of doing the special little things that you did. You are in our hearts forever big boy.
And when that day comes that we meet again, my heart will be full once more.
