To Alero
by JoAnn Letcher.........................................
Alero my friend,

It has been 2 years since you were taken away. My hart still hurts as if it were yesterday. People tell me it gets easier with time, but when? How much time will it take to dull the pain?

You were by far the best I could have asked for. You gave so unconditionally, both in work and play. Thank you for all the love and devotion.

I now have 2 of your grandchildren, a boy and a girl. I named them Chassis and Fender. I'm not sure if I can get them titled, but in memory of you, we will try. Thank you for all the lessons you taught me, both on and off the field.

I loved you then and I love you now, I will never forget you. I have high hopes that you are somewhere on a field of green with all the decoys and dumbells you ever wanted. Dont forget to "such" me out when my time comes. I love you.

JoAnn
