Twinkie was a wonderful little papillion who came into my life at the age of 4 months. She was the most precious little dog who followed me around everywhere. She comforted me during 2 major surgeries and never left my side while I was recouperating. She was so smart that we had to spell the word Treat, then she knew the spelling of that so in the end we would refer to it as the "T" word. She loved everyone and everyone who met and knew her loved her just as much. Sadly Twinkie was taken from us on September 13, 2010 after suffering a stroke very suddenly. It came out of nowhere, one minute she was fine, she went for her morning walk, ate her food and was playful then the next minute she had a stroke. She was put to sleep with myself, my husband and my daughter by her side and as she went to sleep I kissed her all the time. She was 12 years old going on 2! I believe she is in doggy heaven now looking down on me and that she is my guardian angel. It's now her turn to look after me.
