A little female Chihuahua went to Rainbow Bridge on March, 10 2017. This poem is for her. It may be the only memorial she will ever have.
A little girl all black and tan,
You passed so scared and alone.
Lying there beneath that bush,
Your beautiful life is gone.
This poem is for you, little girl,
Though I will never know your name.
You beautiful little girl,
I love you just the same.
You were laying there so very still,
I thought you were asleep.
As I got close to you,
My eyes began to weep.
Taken away, I don't know how.
Your people will look in vain.
They will probably never know
And forever be in pain.
God led me on that path today.
Without Him none would've known.
You were there on the ground
So cold and all alone.
You've gone on to Rainbow Bridge.
You people do not know.
Their hearts will break and they will pine
For they will miss you so.
Find my beautiful little Godiva there.
She'll help you through this time
She went up there a year ago.
That beautiful little friend of mine.
Psalm 145:-9-10,13,15-21 AMP
Though all creatures are subject to man's cruelty, God loves all His creation and has made plans for all His children and the lesser creatures to enjoy His eternal Kingdom.
