Dear Kady, I fell in love with you at 9 months old, you floated around the paddock with your tail in the air and I just had to take you home, although I had to borrow the money to buy you (only 200 pounds all those years ago). You were always so high spirited, jogging and prancing and wanting always to keep your feet moving. We had such wonderful times together, just chilling out together, hacking, cross country, sponsored rides, endurance, dressage, show jumping. We tried just about everything, and you seemed to enjoy it as much as I did. You suffered re-occuring bouts of Laminitis from the age of 4, but we managed it for 20 years. During the last 18 months of your life, you suffered several painful colic attacks. The last one being thursday 15th November, I came to see you at 10pm that night and you seemed quiet, I sat with you and said goodbye I think I knew you were not going to make it this time as the vet had already said the colic seemed much worse this time and after the painkiller wore off you may deteriorate. I wish I had come back to see you at 2am as I had done on previous occasions, I dont know why I didnt! As I walked towards your stable door at 6am the following morning and didnt see your head watching out for me, I knew you had gone over the Rainbow Bridge. I am sorry I was not with you, I love and miss you so much, it is going to be hard being without you after almost 26 years. I have so many wonderful memories you will live in my heart
forever. Until we meet again xxx
