Lola's Poem~
She was my love, when I had no love around
She was my sunshine when the world was gray
She gave me love, when I had nothing else to give
She gave me peace and clarity when the world around me failed
She was my love, my light, my hope, and without her, the world is a darker shade
Every time I look around I am expecting you here
My heart is broken and you are not here to take my tears away
I feel like we failed you and that we could have done more
I wake up crying and there is still no you
I have to keep on living; there is nothing else to do
My heart will always have an empty place that will be only filled by you
When the morning noises begin, I know you have gone away
To leave me with another day; longing, doubt, fear and sadness
Did we fail you? Did you suffer?
I was unable to make the final decision and ultimately it was made by you
My baby is gone, they have taken her away
Gone is her unconditional love and happiness
My body aches to hold you longer
I would give all that I have, for you to be here still
I miss you
