The soul would have no rainbow
if the eyes had no tears
is an old Indian proverb
handed down through many years
May you find some comfort knowing
as your tears may sometimes flow
that your grief is not in vain here,
for they're helping something grow
For you see what makes a Rainbow,
is the sunshine after rain;
your baby's passing is a storm cloud,
where your tears fall from the pain.
Take heart for all your tears here,
mix with sunshine up above,
and the Rainbow now shines brighter,
as you've wept with tender love.
So remember as your tears,
may often gently flow,
that each will magically enhance,
your baby's rainbow.
