My Keg

My Dearest Keg-

Words can not describe how I feel right now. It has been 2 days since I had taken you on your last ride to the vet for your eternal rest. I miss you so much. Your fur sister Cynder is lost and confused and sleeps on your bedding. Even though we knew the time was approaching near the loss is still unbearable. You were my baby for 15 years and had such a strong heart. So strong that it took two euthanazias to take place before it were at peace. I laid you on the floor and sang our song toyou that I used to sing to you when you weren't feeling good. "You are my sunshine, my only sunshine, you make me happy when skies are grey, you'll never know dear how much I loved you, please dont take my sunshine away". When they placed the first needle in I sang it to you and you nudged me a little like you knew this was it. The second needle went in and I finally felt your breathing get less and less. I whispered in your ear I love you and to wait for me at the bridge when it became my time. Josie- your human sister- looked up at the sky yesterday and saw a cloud shaped like you and she said " Hi keggy we miss you and blew a kiss to you" My heart hurts honey but you would come and look at me as if to say " Mommy let me go" and so I felt it was time. We all love you baby and until it is my turn. Have fun chasing the squirrls and always watch over us xoxoxoxox love forever Mommy.
