Our Copper was a 3 year old, beautiful toy Cavalier King Charles, who was loved by all of us very much. She was so special and a true best friend.Her friend was lil' Foxy Roxy.Together they were a handful, but such a joy! The day we found out that our Copper had cancer, it was such like the world had fallen apart. With the help of Dr.Doolittle(that was his real name)& the Long Lake Vet, We made the decision to try to save her with Chemo injections. Copper-tone fought hard,she remained a dedicated best friend through it all, but the cancer won. Copper was taken from us on, and sent on to her next journey. She is a true angel. On 10/27/2004, I had to walk through the door at the Long lake vet.. with my precious granddaughter and say goodbye to Copper, it was one of the hardest things I have EVER had to do.She had such a short time with us but, was such a joy to everyone who was blessed enough to have known her.
