Crystal
by Katie .........................................
I remember the day when we took Crystal to the vet. I held her in my arms in a warm blanket in the car. She was so alert. But so out of it. When we were in the room with the dr. examinning her, she discovered that she had a tumer in her stomach. That day, the dr. put Crystal to sleep. We were so heart broken. It was either that or bring her home and let her suffer. We couldn't let her suffer another minute. That's torture. The dr. put crystal in a box along with the blanket. When we got home, we opened the box and said a prayer. I kissed Crysatl and we layed a few things in the box. Like her favorite mouse, some pictures, and her favorite ball.
Burrying her was the worst part. My dad dug the hole and we layed the box in it, which was also in 3 bags. We burried her, said more prayers, and cried our eyes out. My mom put a little cross and a cat statue. Later on we planted flowers and named that one area, Crystal's Garden. Crystal was black, white, and chubby. She had white under her chin and when u looked far away at her it looked like a beard. She was a beautiful and cute cat. She played when "no one was looking" and loved to sit on the top of the couch and put her paws on the radiator.
We'll never forget Crystal, neither will our other cat Tinkerbell who is now getting over fatty liver deisease.
God Bless you baby.
