I came here 5-6 years ago for support when my beloved "Baby" dog was diagnosed with Sards. This is a disease when a dog completely and suddenly goes blind. The vet and the specialist just diagnosed her and told us there was nothing they could do - three months later she succumbed to pancreatitis. That was the most heartbreaking time of my life and haunts me today. I found out today that something can be done for Sards dogs and they can regain their sight.
