Bearzie
by Laura Proud.........................................
Yesterday I had to put to sleep my best friend & companion. Bearzie was 15 1/2 years old. My son saw this little dog hiding in the cornor cage at fund raiser for the Humane Society. He fell in love right away. I at the time didn't want another dog because a few months earlier we had put to sleep my other dog of 17 years. My husband at the time and son came home with this little puppy and my heart melted. From that day forward you couldn't have asked for a better dog. I had always had little dogs up till them( Bearzie was Shepard, Doberman and Chow) but he was the best dog anyone could have asked for. I hear all the time people saying you should get " pure breed" but my " Pound Puppy" was so very special. I don't know how I am going to live without him, I go into my backdoor where he always greeted me and feel like I have lost part of my heart. I know alot of people don't understand how they can mean so much to you, but he was a big part of my family. There isn't words to describe the lonliness I am feeling right now. He will always have a special place in my heart and I know I will never find a dog as special as him. I love and miss you so much Bearzie
