Come back here often. We care.

Destiny plays such a big part of our lives. It leads us on paths we never would have thought of taking. The destinations we arrive at are so miraculous they take our breath away.

Your furbaby opened your eyes to a world that you would not have seen. You confided in him about everything. You cried, he licked your tears, you laughed, he licked your tears of joy.

And then destiny brings you to the the saddest day of your life. You have to make the hardest decision of your life, you have to give the "yes" to the vet to euthanize your beloved friend. It has to be done. You agree. And your heart is torn from you. And you are no longer two, you are now one. One is a lonley number.

Destiny, in its own way, brought you to this website. We know the pain you are going through because we have all gone through it - and some are still going through it. Those who still have that wretched pain hurt so much. We become so angry but don't know who to be angry at. We can't eat. We can't sleep. We can't function.

But we talk about it here. We give help and comfort to one another. We listen compassionately to each other's story. We know that these fur babies have become a part of our family. We grieve for their loss. But it does get better, little by little. You will never forget your precious furbaby. It's not meant to be like that, but eventually you will find you can speak his name without sobbing. You will be able to tell his story without breaking up. The stories you tell of him will not give you tears of sorrow but tears of pride. What a fine companion, confidant and best friend he was. He will not be forgotten. Not in a spiritual prescence, for he will always be with you in heart.

Come back here often. We care.
