A GOOD Morning
by Lynne Ratliff.........................................
Morning was just dawning at the Rainbow Bridge when Muffin, Big and Little Mac, the tabby kittens, Riverbend, the Himi and Tangerine, the big Tabby was awaken by their Guardian Angel girl, Aleia. "Muffin!!, Boys!!!, Look who is arriving this beautiful morning! It's Peppurr Panther!!", the Angel girl exclaimed. As the clouds parted, they could see the rays of the rainbow shimmering off his glossy black coat and see the joy in his eyes,"I'm well, I'm whole and what Meowmy told was true, there are members of my family here!", the Panther shouted.

Muffin, who was the first of Peppurr's feline family came up to Peppur and asked, "Does she still remember me, Peppurr?" Peppurr with his golden eyes glowing with love said," Yes, Muffin, she does and with great love, on the day of your journey here, she lights a candle and says a prayer that you still remember her too." Big and Little Mac, the fluffy kittens, asked, "She was there when we were born, does she still think of us?", "Yes, she does and keeps you two in her heart always." The elders of Peppurr's family, Tangerine and Riverbend, looked at each other and just purred, they knew that their Meowmy would never forget them.

The Angel girl led Peppurr to place in the meadow where all of the other members of his new found family introduced themselves. There was Happy, the dog, Harmony the hamster, Rusty, the fluffy red tabby much like Tangerine and all the others. Aleia, the Angel girl, told Peppurr of the tears and deep sorrow that his Meowmy went through for the hours after she gave him the greatest gift she could, the gift of no more pain, only the joy of being well and able to play with her and the other members of his family here at the Rainbow Bridge. Then, there was very familiar figures coming towards the Angel girl and Peppurr, WC his sister, Lucky I, his son, Spookers, his daughter ran and ran until they bowled both the angel and Peppurr over! The purrs, licks and hugs abounded between the happy reunited family.

"NOW!!", Peppurr exclaimed, "THIS is a GOOD morning!!!"
