Will he stay or go?
by Lynne LaFever.........................................
We decided to have a "sleep-over" to see if Bennigan would accept a new kitten in his life. He was a very dominate figure in the household and not a bit quiet about who was allowed and who wasn't. So we had the kitten come into the kitchen and explore a bit before introducing Bennigan. Once the kitten was comfortable, we decided it was time for the real test...the Bennigan Test. We put Bennigan down by the kitten and held our breathe. Next thing we see is Bennigan's paw, which was a bit large, going up in the air and then flattening the kitten down to the floor bye the scruff of his neck. The four "hairless" animals in the room were all about to jump up to pull Bennigan away when he laid down next to the kitten and started giving him a bath! We all started breathing after laughing first. That is how Rusty-Cat enter my life...if nothing else he was definitely clean.
