Back in the summer of 1989 I got a phone call from my mother in England, she told me she had just been diagnosed with lung cancer.I left my home here in Ga. and went home to take care of her until she died in Sept.when I came back I was devastated and couldn't function.One day I was out wandering aimlessly around I saw this beautiful little black cocker spaniel sitting in the window of a pet shop she followed me up and down the window and I smiled for the 1st time in months.I went inside and when they opened her cage she ran straight to me I knew God had a plan for us so I named her Kate after my Mom and we spent the next most wonderful 15 yrs together.Thank you Katie I don't think I would have made it without you I will love you forever, I miss you so much you made life a beautiful place to be.
