My story is about my cat, Sydney who came into my life 10 years ago. She was a kitten that someone brought in with other kittens and said they needed homes. I picked her or she picked me. She was long-haired with gray hair that looked like tiny beads running through each strand of it. She was loved, gave love, and it was very hard to put her to sleep. I couldn't let her go on as she was suffering from arthritis, bowel problems, became very thin, and the vet said she probably had cancer. She purred till the very end. I was with her as they put her to sleep. I held her, cried, and told her how much I love her. I told her someday we will see each other again..in my heart I know we will. As with all the furbabies I have lost she will be with them and we will run to each other when my time on earth is through. Until then, my memories of her will remain.
