Over the Rainbow Bridge
by Michael Morgan.........................................
I can see you
In your darkness
I can feel the
Tears you cry
But there's nothing
I can give you
Except the freedom
To pass me by
In the shadow
Of Heaven's mountains
Far away from
Sorrow's reign
There I'll show you
A lazy river
And the bridge that will
Take you home again

Where the Sun is
Always shining
And the tall grass
Always grows
I can show you
But cannot follow
You'll cross over
The Rainbow Bridge of Love

It's been too long
Since you had a home
It's been too long
Since you had a name
You just wander
The streets and sidewalks
And day to day
Your world is full of pain
But I know a place
That will welcome you
Your weary heart is
Already there
I will lead you
To the river
You'll cross over
And leave behind your cares

And you'll drink from
The purest fountains
And you'll never
Be hungry again
I can show you
But cannot follow
You'll cross over
The Rainbow Bridge of Love

You'll always be young
And run and play again
And you'll rest in
God's own hands
I can show you
But cannot follow
You'll cross over
The Rainbow Bridge of Love

You'll cross over
The Rainbow Bridge of Love
