Lose of a loved dog
by Michelle .........................................
I had a Chocolate lab with a little bit of pitbull in her. Her name was Chevy (yes just like the truck brand. I had her since she was 6 weeks old. I never knew she had pit bull in her til we did a blood test. I don't know if it was the pit bull ( no I'm not a hater of pitbulls.) or if it was my step dad abusing her when we weren't around. Chevy and sky ( our lab mix) were playing. They each had a bottle to play with. Chevy was in the other room chewing it no was no where around. Chevy just outta no where attacked sky. It was almost 3 months our house was separated. Chevy couldn't be around any other dog with out reacting aggressive. We asked the vet if she could be fixed he didn't think she could. We went to two different dog trainers. Everybody told us that the best decision was to put her down. I didn't want to I had raised her and worked with her every single day. Chevy went with me every where. She was like my kid. On May 27 at 2:00 pm Chevy was take to the vet. That's the day I lost my little girl. I never ever want to do that again to any animal.

I always remember her for her love for a tennis ball. She never had to be taught fetch. She just naturally did it. Chevy would do anything for a tennis ball or a treat. Chevy also loved the water. We had to fight her to keep her outta the lake when we went fishing. Chev had a play drive unlike any other dog I've ever seen. She was very very smart. I taught chevy 25 tricks before she was 6 months old. I loved working with her. I'm only 17 but my passion was working with my dog.
I only had Chevy a little over a year but I loved her alot. I was very attached to her. I'm still devistated even after almost 4 months. I wanted to do the grief counseling on your sight but it won't let me send an email. So please if you can access my email some please have that grief counselor get in touch with me.

Thanks to every one who read this.
I'm so so sorry for your loss. I know how it feels to lose a pet.
