Ten years ago today, it was a very sad day,
Because you went away.

We tried for so long,
But did not know what was wrong.

By the time we found out, it was too late,
And you were on the way to the pearly gate.

Through all these years, we have kept a spiritual connection,
And still express a lot of affection.

You sent me a 3 year old Maine Coon to keep me company,
And many times when I look in her eyes,
I see you and want to cry.

I named her Cami, after you, and she is about the same age as you
When you left.

Please keep watching over her so she can stay for a long time,
As she will be my last, as I too, am aging fast.

Always remember how much I love and miss you.
