I remember my first Halloween, then Thanksgiving, then Christmas and then New Years Eve. I remember back then my little kitty Jack would curl up in my lap as I watched the Christmas specials, how I'd wake up and Jack would be meowing for my attention, I remember when I went to school my thoughts went to Jack and how when I was little Jack always wanted my attention. I remember waking up that first Christmas without him and asking my mom "Why isn't Jack's stocking up? We always hang it up for Santa to fill it" and mom reminding me of that day.

Ally's story:

I remember going and getting that little kitten and curling up in my room and cuddling the new kitten and I remember wondering why a stocking with "ALLY" instead of "JACK" hanging up and asking my mom "Why is that a Ally stocking instead of a JACK stocking?" I remember going with my dad after she had been put down and making a good attempt at eating away my troubles.
