Run Free
by Niomie .........................................
I remember the first day I met her. I looked in the pet shop window and saw her sitting on a whole pineapple eating! She was so cute and she was such a chubby girl. I knew she was the one for me.

I took her home and I held her and her daughter Blackie came into the world. They would run and frolick with her sister caremal and Fluffball. She was the leader always looking after her herd, always the first one to wheek when the fridge door opened or she heard the rustle of a plastic bag. Flopsy I named her as she would always flop in my arms and look about. She was my gorgeous piglet.

Ill always remember when I would hold you close whilst we we sitting and you would look up at me and I'd smile because I knew you loved me as much as I loved you.

You were the first to go after the pellets, and when you would popcorn you couldn't jump to high which always made me laugh. You bought joy, happiness and love into my life and for this I will always be grateful.

When I found you lying there, I knew you had gone. I held you and cried and didn't know why you were taken from me. But I asked for a sign and I looked up and saw a rainbow. I know now that you are over the rainbow bridge, and even though I may never have the chance to hold you, feed you, or talk to you, I know that your memory and your love will remain with me always.

Goodbye Flopsy, Run Free and I will see you again one day.

Love you always with all my heart,

Rest in Peace -- June 2004 -- 8th July 2009.
