Sis & Cindy Lou
by Nola DeWitt.........................................
My sister, Shelba, but Sis to all her friends, gave her soul to Jesus on 6/7/2010. Her fur-child, Cindy Lou, must have been her soul-mate because the love they shared was a joy to behold. Cindy Lou died suddenly of kidney failure and we found her sweet, little Pomeranian body at the foot of Sis' bed one morning. My sister, 73 years old, was sobbing and asking me to check to see if Cindy Lou was dead. We had a necropsy done to determine what had killed her. We had Cindy Lou cremated and her ashes put in a beautiful urn. Webb Funeral Home was gracious enough to position the urn against Sis' side in the coffin, right where Cindy Lou loved to cuddle her mommy when she was alive. Also, there was a little urn with some of her son's ashes in with her. He passed in October of '09. What a comfort it was to realize that she had her son and Cindy Lou with her when she was interred.
