The Seasons
by Pat Coleman.........................................
Spring and summer have passed, and we welcome the fall. Yet I still wait for you to come in the door behind me (such a gentleman you were). Every so often I feel you pounce on the bed at night, and without thinking, call you when I put Mocha's food down. She misses you also. I say "Where's Java?" and her ears perk up, her head tilts, and she stares at me expectantly. I hope you will remember us..and I hope you are happy and having lots of playtime with Jiggs, Bandit, Pepper, Maggie, Brandy, and all the new friends you've made. We all miss you very much.
