We've had your love so many years.
I'm writing this through my tears.
You haven't suffered until recently.
You cannot hear you can barely see.
We've been to the Vet a dozen times,
you shake and pant but never whine.
Such a good girl is what you've been.
I fear we are nearing your life's end.

Drops for your ears, drops for your eyes.
Pills to counter the cancer inside.
I cannot tell that all these things
are part of life's process that old age brings.

You will turn 15 in two months and a day.
I can see that your spirit is fading away.
Soon a decesion will have to be made
to set you free to romp and play.
God is His wisdom has planned it this way
He brings all his little one's back home to stay.

We love you dear Gadget more than words can say,
and we will me again, on a "Rainbow Day".

Our beloved baby girl a Black & White beauty of a Shih Tzu passed on to the Rainbow Bridge on the 31st of August 2009. We mourn her loss but rejoice in having had her for so long. Pat & Tom Czubak
