As dark as the night,
with a spirit so bright.
He lived just to bring
people joy.
His size although small
meant nothing at all
cause his brain said
"I'm big and I'm tall"!
He lived a good life,
no worry no strife.
He lived by the lake
with a view, but
his eye sight was failing, his
health it was ailing, oh what's
a poor puppy to do?
I'll eat and I'll sleep and
I'll romp in my dreams.
The memories and sights
I'll hold dear.
With my family beside me
to hold me and guide me,
in death I will have no fear.
For as long as their living,
my memory keeps giving
and will bring smiles
instead of tears.
I will wait by the "Bridge"
cause I know that there is
a time when I'll see them again,
and a family we'll be through
eternity,
Forever and ever...
