Here is a Poem I had written a long time ago for my Cowboy, the longest relationship with a male I've had (besides my father, grandfather, and nephew):

Unconditional Love

His brown eyes light up when I walk into a room,
If I've been out, he always greets me wholeheartedly at the door.
So happy to see me again, he can hardly contain his joy.
It's as if I've been gone for so long and he's missed me
All the while waiting patiently, yet eagerly for my return.
To him I'm the single most beautiful woman alive,
No matter what time of day, the weather or my mood,
He's thrilled at my arrival and treasures our time together
I can't help but smile and laugh at his abundant glee,
I'm so glad he really loves me just for being me.
Even if I'm empty handed and tired he's there by my side.
Or jumping into my lap, barking, and wagging his tail.
