An Ode To Frosty

AN ODE TO FROSTY

Frosty. Somehow the name implies something cold, white and beautiful.

Frosty. The name of a cat who was black & white. A tuxedo cat who was all dressed up with nowhere fancy to go.

Frosty. The name of a cat who was my baby from day one.

Frosty. The name of a cat who owned my heart the first time I saw her.

Frosty. The name of a cat who loved to hide from Mommy & make her look all over the place for her.

Frosty. The name of a cat who loved Lays Garden Tomato & Basil Potato Chips.

Frosty. The name of a cat who at age 14 had been in my life for 14 years and 4 months.

Frosty. The name of a funny cat whom I loved dearly & now is no longer with me. She has gone to be with God.

Frosty. The cat who made me laugh countless times; who snuggled with me on cold, frosty nights.

Frosty. Who got her name because her ears were frostbitten & the tips had to be removed.

Frosty. Who stayed alive only for her mommy. The mommy who loved her so much, it was hard to let her go.

Frosty. The sweet baby whom I will never cuddle or snuggle with again. The baby whose love for her mommy was monumental.

Frosty. The baby who will forever be in my heart, mind & soul. Who will be buried under the Rose of Sharon Tree.

Frosty. The sweetest, funniest cat I have ever known & loved.

REST IN PEACE MY BEAUTIFUL GIRL. ONE DAY WE WILL BE
TOGETHER AGAIN.

With Love,
Mommy
