Nugget was a beautiful, sweet dog who I was told had separation anxiety. I was petsitting. I did everything I could for her, but all of us who loved her had been misinformed. She had an aggressive, rapid growing tumor. I kept trying to get her carers to address her extreme discomfort, but they dismissed it as separation anxiety. I begged them to permit me to do more things for her to make her peaceful and comfortable. They kept dismssing me. Then it developed into the crisis it was destined to become, given her illness. I was never allowed to give her the comfort I wanted to give her, because everyone refused to let her be in the house she wanted to be in, for comfort. Everyone was misinformed, due to a bad vet diagnosis. Broken hearts all around.
