Love came to us long ago, when she walked through Daddy's front door. She brought strength and comfort, but she brought him so much more. She brought him a reason to live, as she stayed right by his side, and with her awesome tenderness, she stayed until he died.

Fourteen years were not long enough to know the joy she gave, this wonderful little creature, the fearless and the brave. She always stayed right by our side, when to our home she came, a little over a year ago, and we'll never be the same. She slept with us and guarded us, an angel by our heads, or curled up right between us, as she slept upon our bed.

What joy she gave, what love she gave, not asking in return, and as we watched her day by day, those things she taught, we learned.

We wait to hear her gentle voice, and feel her gentle touch. Words cannot tell the depth of the pain, and how we'll miss her, oh, so mcuh!

You made her journey easier. Our pain, we knew you shared. How grateful that you showed it, and let us know you cared! So from our hearts, we'd like to say, God bless you every one, for being there that fateful day, when Mama's life was done!
