For Merlin

They fill our hearts with love,and make us laugh and cry,
and on their presence we do rely.
Sometimes they are with us for years,
and sometimes only a short while.
But no matter the time, we will shed tears.
Merlin knows you love him, Shelley,
and he is waiting for the day
when once again, you two will run and play.
