I looked at the spot you used to lay-but you weren't there
I bent to touch your sweet soft head-but you weren't there
I called your name to come inside- but you weren't there
I bent to fill your water bowl- but you weren't there
I looked in all you favorite hiding spots- but your weren't there
I searched in all your garden haunts- but you went there
I told you to listen to the mockingbird-but you weren't there
But this one thing I know is true when my day comes and Heaven calls I know YOU WILL BE THERE
