Sweet Girl, I know it's been awhile since my last poem
But, the love I have for you and the pain of your loss, I still need to show them
Wherever I go and whatever I do, you remain in my heart
My eyes fill with tears & I feel so sad knowing that we're apart
Another holiday season has come and gone and I couldn't care less
I didn't feel much like celebrating because without you my life feels like a mess
I have been getting sick again for quite awhile,
Sometimes, Tori, it even hurts when I try to smile
I haven't forgotten my promise to you but, I think I need your help again
Please always know that I'll never forget you and I love you so, my daughter, my teacher, my best friend!!!!
