My life has changed, my best friend has gone,
no longer your beautiful face and sweet loving ways,
and since you are no longer here, I have been counting the days.

I cannot sleep without you next to me,
you were so handsome my gorgeous fluffy teady bear,
and your sweet little head you would lay upon my knee.

The house is so empty without you around,
no toys, bowl, lead, not even a sound.
You are the first thing I think of, the last thing at night,
and I am trying to stay strong with all of my might.

The unconditional love you gave me was unique,
I cannot ever forget you, my heart is broken,
and how wholeheartedly you made my life so complete.

Eeven though I am so sad, and my tears always flow,
I knew deep in my heart it was time for you to go.
I said goodbye in my own special way,
and will never ever forget that awful and fateful day.

My Herbie, my darling, my beautiful boy,
I thank you for being you, and blessing me with pure wonderful joy.
I love you so deeply and my heart aches so,
I am sending you all my kisses, much, much more than you will ever know.

We chose each other to give lots of love,
and I know you are looking at me from heaven above.
I am so proud, and constantly thinking of you,
it comforts me to know that you really loved me too.

My memories of you will "never ever" fade,
and you are now at peace gently laid.
So my little Herbie you sleep tight,
and until we meet again my wonderful baby, night night.
