There is a land of green beyond
With meadows lush galore
Where all beloved pets do go
To romp forevermore

The old and frail are there made young
And maimed restored as whole
But yet somehow found incomplete
A sadness there of soul

Until that faiteful day arrives
When head perks up with glee
the nose does twitch and eyes shine with
Familiarty

And now it races from the pack
To kiss your face once more
The forepaws scratching at your knee
Embrace me as before

For now we are together whole
Beyond a rainbows bend
Where love will keep us safe entwined
And broken hearts will mend.
