Lobo
by Rosa Holston.........................................
Today my precious Lobo went to rest. My husband came to the bedroom and said it is time. He had made an appointment to take Lobo to be put to rest I got up right then. I wen to where Lobo was in the living room. I picked him up and he laid in my lap. He was breathing heavy. We sat like that for awhile. I was talking to him and telling him I loved him. I prayed to The Lord to please let him pass sitting in my lap He took two or three more breaths and then he was at rest My son and I gave him a proper funeral he was buried in my son's tin box that he has had since he was nine. He is 36 now. Then tin box has dogs on it :) There has never been a more loving dog on this earth. He never growled at anyone or never tried to bite anyone. He was a true best friend. Rest in peace my dear heart. I will love you forever!!!!
