My boy Rambo
by Stacey Ware.........................................
Rambo wasn't a hero to a lot of people but, he was a hero too me. From the time we brought him home 12 years ago as a 2 month old puppy, he took our hearts completely with his smile and his loving personality.

From the time he found and completely destroyed a very sentimental pair of tweety bird slippers until the day he left us, he was nothing but a furball of fun, laughter and great times!

He was such a joy! During some of the hardest times of my life, he was always there with a "smile" for me. He always greeted me at the door whenever I would come home after a long day.

Rambo was always a very loving companion for my mother as well who, has suffered for the past 10 or so years with some very life threatening health issues. No matter how sick she was, he was always right by her side making sure she was okay. If he noticed that she was not acting like herself, he never hesitated to come and find me to let me know something was wrong!

Rambo also had a wonderful love for children. He lived for everyday that a child would come and play with him and wrestle with him. He was never mean to anyone but, he sure would become protective of any child he would be around. It was obvious that he would never let a stranger around any of the children in the family.

Rambo died a sudden unexplainable death on 06/18/07. This was also the same day that we as a family had to put our grandparents beloved dog down due to health issues. So, his death came as a shock to me....something that I was in no way expecting. Rambo is going to be missed by so many people but, we all know that he is in a much better place that we will all see him again one day.

Rambo, I love you and miss you so much. You'll never know how much you meant too me. I only wish I could have done something to save you. But, I know you are so much better off and are in a better place now. Rambo please run and play in heaven as you did here on this earth. You now get to see your mommy again along with your "sister" Sugar and "brother" Tiny. We love you so much!!
