Friday, January 26, 2007. MacBeth had been shutting down from kidney failure. I knew this would be his last day. I could not stay home from work. I kissed the top of his head one last time, told him I loved him, and prayed to God to bring my beloved cat home quickly and peacefully. It was very cold, so cold it was snowing ice crystals. I glanced out my office window at 8:30 a.m., and there it was. A beautiful rainbow prism glistening in the sun and snow crystals. I knew my boy had crossed over the Rainbow Bridge and was resting in the palm of God's hand. I am so thankful.
