Today is my baby boy Patrick's birthday. He would have been 18 years today. He was born under my bed on St. Patrick's Day in 2000. Every year, when I got up, I would hold him and sing Happy Birthday to him. He never minded it. His first birthday, I put a birthday hat on him. He was not very fond of that. Every year, I would get a small angel food cake, frosted in green, and we would celebrate his birthday. And sing Happy Birthday again. This is my first year that he is not with me on his birthday, but I got a small angel food cake, frosted in green and we will toast my baby. I'm sure he is happy there at the Rainbow Bridge as he has his sister Shaylle with him, who he missed so much. Fly high with the Angels Patrick! Mommy misses you and loves you so, so much!
