CoCos Gift
by Suzanne Schultz.........................................
Coco was 17 when I had to put him to sleep. A gray poodle full of love. I found him at the pound when he was 2 years old. He was full of life and loved everyone. As the years passed he became blind and deaf. He would sleep all day. He no longer loved to play it was just to hard on him. Kayla our other dog became his ears and eyes. She led him around the yard and brought him safetly home again. In March I knew the time had come to say good bye. So with a heavy Heart I took him to the vets and set him free. I felt like a killer. A few weeks later we were at a flea market and I was looking at some puppys but my heart just was not in it. So I walked back to our booth we had set up. A young man came up to our booth with a tiny puppy and asked if we wanted a dog. How much? My husband wanted to know. Free! And it was a female. When I took her it was love at first sight. Maybe not purbred. And surely not what I had wanted. But she came to me when I needed her the most. I know CoCo sent her to me. A gift to help me get over loosing him. A gift I will treasure for years to come. Thank you CoCo for Miss Bump
