Boy do they know how to do birthdays here at Rainbow Bridge. They go all out. Back home on earth I got a special treat. But here you get to have a huge party. Everyone comes. We play all kind of games. My favorite game is chase the cat. There is only one cat I like to chase though and that is Tabby. She was a real pain on earth. Always slapping me with her paw, claws out. Sometimes Lacy Jay likes for me to chase her too. Tabby though knows this is all a game and enjoys it. We go sun danceing and cloud surfing. Talk about fun. We play catch a moon beam. Then the angles come and pass out the gifts. All the animals sing Happy Birthday. Everyone gets a gift. But the birthday furbaby gets a special gift. We get to return to earth for a brief time at nigth. We get to lay next to our human in bed. We snuggle close to them and enter their dreams. We return to the bridge come morning, but not before we see them smile and feel our gentle touch. We return to the bridge happy and ready to play.
Now where did Tabby go I need someone to chase. Oh here comes CoCo with his grey poodle self. I think I'll sneak up on him and scare him. Hey I can't see who turned out the lights. Someone get this cat off my head. CoCo that was not funny. Of course you both know this means war.
I love you Mom. You gave me 15 wonderful years with you. I thank you for letting me go. I know how hard that must have been. We will be together again someday.
Kayla was my 15 year old chia mix. She had alot of health problems and I just could not let her suffer anymore. I let her go on August 5th 2009. Her memory will live on forever in my heart.
HAPPY SWEET 16 KAYLA. I LOVE AND MISS YOU.
