Time To Go
by Suzanne Schultz.........................................
Kayla my sweet little girl, as I write this I can hear you try to breath. You have been such a blessing to me. All 10 pounds of you. I have had you for 15 years today. How strange it is that in your younger days you were my nurse. You knew when I was going to have a seizure before I did. You would run around barking your head off trying to get help. If we were home alone you would sit on my chest until I came out of it. The whole time barking your head off. You were always there for me. Now you are the one with seizuers. I now hold you and tell you it will be over soon. You are so scared when they happen. You are almost deaf now so I try to let you feel my body. Then the other day the seizures got worse and I told you that it was ok if it was time to go. We took you to the vets today but they were closed. I will be back on Monday if you are still with us.
I pray that God will call you home in your sleep. The thought of you dying while haveing a seizure is more than I can stand.
For those of you who read this please pray that God will send his Angels down to carry Kayla loveingly across the bridge.

Kayla is a long haired chia mix. She got the nickname of Kayla Burger when she was a baby and crawled into a large mean dogs doghouse. I told her to come out before she became a Kayla Burger. The name stuck along with a few others. Such as, Burger Head, K.B., Burger Bait, K.K, and Grandma. I just thought you might like to know a little about her.
